Site Requirements
POWER
A single cotton candy machine requires a full 15A/20A circuit — machines draw up to 1100W of power.
Any additional items added to the same circuit, such as high-powered DJ equipment, extensive lighting, bouncers, or additional catering machines will trip the breaker. We’d hate to see all the lights go off when the cotton candy machine starts up!
We provide extensions to set up as far as 100 feet away from the nearest outlet.
Don’t forget to ask us about generator rentals!
SPACE, CLEARANCE, LOAD IN/OUT

Setup area: With umbrella we recommend at least an 8 x 8 ft. area, with at least 5 ft. distance from any rear walls.
Height: The umbrella requires 10 ft. of vertical clearance.
Width: Measure your spaces to ensure we can reach your intended service area. Our carts vary in size and need from 30 to 36” width to pass.
Stairs/Hard to reach areas: We may need to charge a service fee for additional labor if the cart needs to be carried up long flights of stairs. Best discussed during the booking process.

Heat is a misconception — sun and warmth don't melt cotton candy. Humidity does. Rainy days, beachfront events, and venues with heavy moisture cause cotton candy to turn sticky quickly. We can still serve in humid conditions, but expect a shorter window per serving before it starts dripping, and we'd recommend skipping edible logos for those events. Hot, dry weather is no problem.

Our cotton candy is gluten-free, vegan, kosher-friendly, non-GMO, and made with organic cane sugar (no bone char). Toppings vary in ingredients — share your dietary needs in your quote request and we'll confirm specifics for your event.

We color-match to your event theme across multiple touchpoints: printed menu designs, your selection from our existing umbrella and countertop colors, and — as a paid add-on — custom cart decals. The cotton candy itself can be spun in any color matched to any flavor, so a blue piña colada for a blue-themed event is no problem.

Our sugar and flavors are organic — the colors are not, by default. If your event requires 100% natural coloring, we can accommodate, but the color and shade range is more limited. We can also spin any flavor uncolored if you prefer the all-natural route. Just request this when you submit your quote.

No. Cotton candy machines run between 260°F and 445°F to melt sugar. Ethanol boils at 173°F — any alcohol introduced to the process flash-evaporates long before the sugar liquefies. Even cotton candy advertised as "alcohol-infused" retains only trace residue, below the TTB's threshold for non-alcoholic classification. Our mocktail flavors deliver the cocktail flavor profile with zero alcohol content — safe for every guest: kids, designated drivers, expecting moms, anyone avoiding alcohol!

Less than you'd think. One bottle of soda equals about 8 cotton candies — meaning a single fresh-spun cotton candy is a fraction of the sugar in a standard drink. So live a little, enjoy the party, and have 1, 2, or 3. We have a behind-the-scenes video on our Instagram breaking it down.
